Here we are, right at the gate of the Celestial
City. Don't forget to breathe . . . it's just as awesome
as the Bible says. In John 14, Jesus said,
"In my Father's house are many mansions. I go to
prepare a place for you, and where I go
ye cannot come. And if I go, I will come again
and receive you unto myself that where
I am you may be also."
Just look! There are the mansions.
I know many people who are already living here.
See those streets of gold the Bible talks about?
That must be the river of life, running
right through the middle! There, over there
. . . that shining light! That's Him!
The creator of all the universe and of
man, too! His Glory fills the city with light!
Just imagine! His love for us was so great
that He was willing to leave this heavenly
glory to be born as a human. Knowing
he would be rejected and crucified,
He was still willing to come to earth and take
on himself the sin of even those who
were flogging Him and spitting on Him.
("For he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin, that we might be
made the righteousness of God in him."
